Christopher Gordos, DPT, is a Physical Therapist for Integrated Medical Group Physical Therapy’s (IMGPT) Fleetwood center, located at 805 N. Richmond St. The center is located in the Fleetwood Medical Building next to the Fleetwood Area High School. A seasoned clinician and a Berks County practitioner for more than twenty years, Chris is experienced in treating a wide range of work-related, motor vehicle, surgical, sports, and orthopedic injuries utilizing a sports medicine approach.
Chris earned his Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy in 1997 and his Doctorate degree in 2009 from the University of Scranton. In addition, Chris has completed many continuing education courses, including Maitland Evidence-Based Orthopedic Diagnostic Evaluation, Maitland Essential Peripheral, Maitland Essential Spinal, IASTM, Strain CounterStrain, Mulligan Course, Back-to-Golf, Current Trends in Sports Medicine, Evaluation Diagnosis and Management of Concussions, Advanced Nutrition Principles, Nutritional Interventions & Nutraceutical Applications in Clinical Practice, Disorders of the Knee, and APTA Advanced Clinical Instructor Credentialing. Chris completed his Manual certification in 2021.
Chris has received Clinical Educator of the Year awards from three local Universities: Alvernia 2019, Temple 2020, and Drexel 2021. He has trained over 100+ students in his career, many of whom work for him now or at other local therapy offices.
He is married to his lovely wife of 20+ years, Kristin Gordos, DMD, a pediatric dentist in Leesport. He has 3 children whom he helped coach for 10+ years in baseball, basketball, and Soccer. He is a passionate sports fan and roots for the Baltimore Orioles, Baltimore Ravens, Penn State Football, North Carolina Basketball, and enjoys watching NASCAR races on Sundays when his schedule allows. He can be found walking / running his dog at Blue Marsh Lake on his off days and weekends.
